Step 1 of 5

Welcome. First, how it works.

This takes about five minutes: how we’ll work, your sessions, payment, booking session one, and a few questions about you.

If we haven’t had your free call yet, start there instead.

Questions about cost, commitment or fit?

“What if it isn’t worth it?”

It is. But you’re not locked in. If your first paid session isn’t valuable, you get your money back. The whole package, if you bought one.

“How exactly will this help me?”

By making the next step obvious, then making sure it happens. Each session we look at what’s really in the way, pick one or two things to do before we next meet, and then I ask what happened. Most people aren’t short of ideas. They’re short of someone who remembers, and asks.

“How do I know you’re the right person?”

You won’t fully know until we’ve worked together. That’s why the first session is guaranteed. If it isn’t valuable, you get your money back. And if I don’t think I’m the right fit, I’ll tell you, and help you find someone who is.

“Do I have to commit to a package?”

Start as small as you like. Plenty of people pay as they go with single sessions. You can buy a package later.

“Can I afford this right now?”

Start where it’s comfortable. A package can be split into payments, with Klarna if approved, or ask me about installments. If your company has a professional development budget, I can invoice them directly.

“What if I don’t know what I want yet?”

That’s where most people start. Working out what you want is part of the work. We’ll figure it out together.

I wasn’t sure about coaching at first but Noel has been a godsend. … The accountability and support is great. But the focus on priorities, time management, and his ability to solve challenging financial, client, and operational problems is priceless.

What happens in session one

  • We’ll pick the one thing. Not a full life audit: the single thing that would make the biggest difference if it moved.
  • You’ll leave with something to do. Small enough to happen before session two.
  • If it’s not right, we’ll say so. Either of us. That’s what the guarantee is for.

Please read these six points. They’re our agreement.

  1. Session length. 1 session = 55 minutes.
  2. How often. Weekly or every other week. This is the recommendation to maintain accountability, momentum and to stay focused.
  3. When. We find a consistent day and time that works well for your schedule. Example: Mondays at 11am. I hold that time for you.
  4. Cancellations & reschedules. Need to adjust the day, time, or skip a week? No problem. Just give me 24 hours’ notice. Less than that and the session is billed.
  5. Additional time. Want to run over, or need help between sessions (reviewing a document, interview prep, a big presentation)? When our schedules allow, I’m glad to. Extra time is prorated at your session rate, rounded in your favor.*
  6. Confidentiality. Everything we discuss is 100% confidential. What you tell me stays between us, even if your employer is paying.
