What I collect, and why.
Short version: I collect what you type into a form so I can reply to you, and nothing I don’t need. Last updated October 2026.
Who this covers
This site, actnowcoach.com, is run by Act Now Coaching, a sole-proprietor coaching practice in Los Angeles, California. If you have a question about anything here, email noel@actnowcoach.com.
What I collect
When you fill in a form. Your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and whatever you write in the message or answer fields. The booking form also asks what kind of help you want, how soon, and how you found me, so I can tell before we speak whether I’m the right person. Share whatever helps me understand what’s going on. If something feels too personal to type, you’re welcome to save it for the call.
When you book a call. Booking runs through Calendly, which collects your name, email, and the time you choose under Calendly’s privacy policy.
When you pay. Payment runs through Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, not to me, under Stripe’s privacy policy. I receive your name, email, phone number, and what you bought.
When you join the list. Your first name and email address, so I can send Blind Spots, the newsletter, once a month. You join by signing up for it, ticking the newsletter box on the booking form or the self-assessment, joining a workshop waitlist, or ticking “Keep me updated” at checkout. Downloading a guide, buying, registering for a workshop or sending me your answers doesn’t add you. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing works immediately.
Automatically. This site counts page views using Vercel Web Analytics, which does that without cookies and without building a profile of you. It records the page, the site that sent you, and rough country-level location. It does not follow you anywhere else.
This site also uses Google Analytics to see which pages people find useful. It sets cookies and records your device type, rough location, the pages you visit and the site that sent you. I do not use it for advertising. Neither it nor the page counter above sees what you type into forms.
Spam protection. The forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a script, is sending them. To do that it looks at information about your browser and device, under Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy addendum. It doesn’t set advertising cookies or follow you elsewhere.
Advertising pixels from LinkedIn and Meta are built into the site but switched off. If I switch them on, this page will say so before that happens.
In your own browser. If you start the new-client questions and don’t finish, your answers are saved on your own device so they’re still there when you come back. They stay on that device, they are not sent to me until you press send, and they are cleared the moment you do. To remove them sooner, clear this site’s data in your browser settings. Get Started also remembers, on that device, which step you’re on, what you chose, and when you accepted the Client Agreement, so you can stop and come back. It forgets after 30 days.
The site also notes, on your device, the first page you visited, the site that sent you, and any campaign tag in the link you followed. That note goes nowhere unless you send the booking form, when it comes with your answers so I know how you found me. It expires after 30 days.
When you send the booking form, your email is also kept for that browser tab, so that when you book a time on Calendly the site can note that you did. It’s gone when you close the tab.
What I do with it
I reply to you, prepare for our call, deliver what you bought, and send the newsletter if you joined it. That is the whole list. I do not sell your information, and I do not share it with anyone except the services named on this page that make the site work.
Where it lives
Form answers and contact details are stored in a private Google Sheet and in Resend, the service that sends my email. Bookings live in Calendly. Payments live in Stripe. The site itself is hosted by Vercel. Each of those companies has its own security and privacy commitments, linked above where relevant.
How long I keep it
As long as we are working together, or as long as you are on the list. If you get in touch and we never end up working together, I delete your form answers after two years. You can ask me to delete them sooner, any time.
Your choices
Email noel@actnowcoach.com and I will send you what I hold about you, correct it, or delete it. If you are in California, you have the right to know what is collected, to have it deleted, and not to be treated differently for asking. I do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front.
You can block analytics cookies in your browser, or with a tool like the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and the site will work exactly the same. Browsers’ “Do Not Track” signal has no agreed standard, so the site doesn’t change what it does when it receives one; blocking cookies is the way to opt out.
Children
This site is for adults. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it. Anything that would surprise you will be said plainly rather than buried.
