Before and after

Six things you’d notice in the weeks after.

What leaders tell me before we start, and what changes after.

“Everything ends up on my desk.”

Fewer escalations

Managers handle the hard conversations themselves.

“They nod in the meeting, then object in the hallway.”

Decisions stick

Objections come up in the room, so things get settled once.

“We keep redoing the same work.”

Less rework

Briefs land the first time.

“My new managers are winging it.”

Managers get a method

A real way to do the job they were promoted into.

“The loudest voice wins.”

Quieter people speak up

The best idea in the room stops getting lost.

“I can’t lose good people to a bad manager.”

Good people stay

Managers become people others want to work for.

My approach

It’s called “Yes, And.” And yes, there’s improv.

Stay with me. The best teams already do what improvisers do. My trainings teach it on your feet, laughing and moving.

Listen. Build on each other. Make each other look good.

  • Improv-basedOn-your-feet exercises, not slides

What I train on

Where teams usually get stuck.

Every session is built around your team. These are the shapes most take.

Communication & Presence

Being clear, being heard and holding a room, from presentations to speaking up in meetings.

Good for: Any team. The most requested session.

Leadership for new managers

The jump from doing the work to leading the people who do it. Delegation, feedback, and the conversations first-time managers avoid.

Good for: Recently promoted managers and team leads.

Sales & Client relationships

Reading the room, adapting in real time, and building rapport that isn’t a technique. Improv is unusually good at teaching this.

Good for: Sales teams, account managers, brokers, advisors.

Three more, including one built from scratch

Team trust & Collaboration

Building on each other instead of defending your patch, and settling conflict in the room, not around it.

Good for: Teams that grew fast, merged, went remote, or are stuck in conflict.

Navigating change

Staying useful when the org chart moves, the strategy shifts, or the thing everyone planned around disappears.

Good for: Teams mid-restructure, mid-merger, or mid-pivot.

Built from scratch

Tell me the actual problem and I’ll design the session around it. Most of my work starts here.

Good for: Anyone whose problem isn’t on this list.

How it works

From first call to follow-up.

  1. A call, 30 minutes

What’s going on, what you want different, and whether I’m the right fit. Free.

  2. A proposal

Outline, length, format and price in writing within a few days, ready for whoever signs off.

  3. The session

Built for your team, not pulled off a shelf. I’ll have learned your context before I walk in.

  4. Follow-up

A short recap your team can share, so the tools stick after everyone’s back at their desks.

What teams say

Skeptical going in. Here’s what they said after.

50 of our brokers were skeptical walking into a sales training. Within minutes you could feel the room lean in and the energy change. Educational, entertaining, and he commanded the room, a rare combo. Highly recommend.

On behalf of Cedars-Sinai please accept my warm appreciation for the exceptional Leadership and Public Speaking Workshop that you delivered. The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive and some of the participants mentioned it was the best leadership retreat they’d attended.

Noel taught 350 of our business school students how to be more persuasive and impactful when interviewing, speaking impromptu and establishing meaningful connection. We were so thrilled with the results that we brought him back again and again.

Noel infused new thinking into our organization. We were left with better team connections and great memories, and we look forward to working with him again.

Trainings typically range$5,000 to $10,000

Quoted per engagement. Length, group size, travel and customization all move the number.

My nursing team has high-stakes jobs. I wanted training in a format that was actually enjoyable. This exceeded my expectations.

Before you reach out

What people ask before bringing me in.

Getting started

How does an engagement usually start?

A short call about what’s going on with the team, not a sales call. I’ll tell you honestly whether training is the right tool. Sometimes it isn’t, and I’d rather say that than sell you a session that won’t hold.

How far ahead do we need to plan?

Four to six weeks is comfortable for a custom session, because the design work happens in between. Faster is possible for shorter formats.

Do you travel?

Yes. I’m based in Los Angeles and run sessions on site wherever your team is. Travel and accommodation are billed at cost on top of the fee, and I’ll estimate them up front so there’s no surprise on the invoice.

What group sizes work?

Ten to a hundred, more by arrangement. Under about thirty, everyone practices; bigger rooms lean on demos and small groups. Both work.

The work

Our team will hate this. They’ve had bad training before.

Most rooms start skeptical, and that’s a reasonable position given what’s usually on offer. I’d rather have a skeptical room than a compliant one. It’s more honest and the shift is more real when it comes. Nobody gets forced into anything.
